Reflecting on a Year of Impact at Pregnancy Sickness Support

2024 was a transformative year for Pregnancy Sickness Support, and we’re proud to share our journey in our latest Impact Report. This report captures the incredible work we’ve accomplished thanks to your support—highlighting milestones, success stories, and the challenges we continue to tackle for those affected by hyperemesis gravidarum (HG).

Here are just a few highlights from the report:

  • Support services: We provided nearly 300 counselling sessions, and matched 336 sufferers to peer support sufferers.
  • Our Helpline & Support Team sent 23,000 Whatsapp comms and spent over 260 hours on the helpline, providing a listening ear and evidenced-based resources to help women navigate the challenges of HG.
  • Advocacy: WE had 2.8m page and profile impressions across all social media platforms.
  • Training: We delivered impactful training sessions to 1000 healthcare providers, helping to improve outcomes for HG sufferers nationwide.
  • Community impact: Thanks to our incredible fundraisers, we had a record breaking fundraising year, smashing targets!

Together, we’ve built a year of progress that has changed lives and set the stage for even greater accomplishments in the years to come. I hope this report provides a meaningful insight into our work and the transformative impact of PSS in 2024.
