This engaging and interactive session will include a talk from the fabulous Dr Melanie Nana, Obstetric Registrar, researcher and all-round HG expert, alongside members of the Pregnancy Sickness Support Team providing insight and information about the services our charity offers.
By the end of this 3-hour online session, you will understand:
- The spectrum of pregnancy sickness
- How Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is diagnosed and treated
- The impact of HG on women’s physical and mental health
- The vital role Healthcare Professionals play in supporting women with HG
- The importance of compassionate care and empathy when working with HG sufferers
- Where to signpost sufferers to the support available from PSS and beyond
