A three-hour in depth training session designed for counsellors and perinatal mental health professionals, to understand the complexities of HG from a psychological perspective and learn how to support clients through loss, trauma, identity challenges, and recovery. This comprehensive training session focuses on effectively working with clients in a therapy setting who have experienced Hyperemesis Gravidarum, an extreme form of pregnancy related nausea and vomiting.
Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is more than severe pregnancy sickness —it is a debilitating condition that can significantly affect both physical and mental health, often extending well beyond the pregnancy itself.
This comprehensive three-hour training is designed for counsellors, psychologists, and other perinatal mental health professionals, offering essential knowledge and clinical insights into HG. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the condition and learn practical strategies to effectively support clients experiencing its impacts both during and after pregnancy.
